Emily Agee, Resident

Hello! How can I help you find joy today? Finding small joys for everyone is one of my passions. I find laughter can be helpful in relieving and managing stress. No matter how stressful life gets, I find joy in helping individuals find their own small joys and truths that strengthen their connection with themselves and with others.  As a Richmond native I am excited to build strong roots within the community with my husband and fur baby (Viper). As a Resident in Counseling, I am excited to continue building on the skills I learned during my internship with Calming Wind Counseling. I am thrilled to continue to serve the greater Richmond community while pursuing licensure in professional counseling.

I strive to work with clients to develop and provide a safe trauma-informed space where you feel empowered in your healing journey while knowing you have help to process the hard stuff.

There is no issue too big or too small for counseling; you are deserving of help. No matter what you are seeking counseling for, you have already taken one step by searching for someone to talk to. I am ready to meet you wherever and however you are.  I am here to work alongside you and help you reclaim your joy and passion on your healing journey. Everyone carries their life experiences differently; the important thing to know is that you do not have to do it alone. You are worthy to share your story in a space that is free of judgment. Feel like I can help you find your joy? Please don’t hesitate to reach out. If you are ready to take the next steps please reach out to schedule a free consultation or intake to get started.
