COVID-19 Update

We at Calming Wind Counseling Services are dedicated to working with all of you and also working to ensure the best health practices to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Calming Wind Counseling Services is always working to ensure that we are keeping our office clean and attempting to minimize the risk as much as possible. We are asking any client that is not feeling well to please cancel/ reschedule your appointment. We also will not charge any late cancellation fees at this time for anyone not feeling well. We will temporarily suspend our cancellation fee for anyone who calls/contacts Calming Wind Counseling Services to cancel/reschedule their appointment. If you are really struggling and feel that missing a session will negatively impact your mental health, we do offer Tele-Mental Health sessions at no additional cost.

What is Tele-Mental Health? Tele-Mental Health is a secure way to hold sessions through video calls online. These sessions require both you and the clinician to have access to a computer with a camera and internet. The video software we use is HIPAA/HiTECH compliant. Instead of talking with your therapist in their office you would be able to talk to them from the comfort of your home or any other quiet place. If you feel that Tele-Mental Health Sessions would be better for you please talk to your Therapist or one of our Executive Directors and we help you make the switch to Tele-Mental Health with your therapist.
